Pomodivo — Privacy Policy

Pomodivo ("the app") is a Pomodoro / focus-timer app for Android and iOS. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. It is written to be read, not to be exhaustive legalese.

Summary

• Your timer sessions, tasks, statistics and settings are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to any server.
• Pomodivo has no account system and no analytics SDK. We do not track you across apps or websites.
• The free version shows ads via Google AdMob, which collects some data to serve those ads. You can turn ads off permanently with a one-time in-app purchase.
• Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by us.

Data stored on your device

The app creates and stores the following locally, using on-device storage:

• Completed and in-progress focus sessions (type, start time, duration)
• Tasks you add (label, created date, done state)
• Statistics derived from your session history
• Your settings: session lengths, selected theme, sound and notification preferences, and purchase entitlement flags

This data stays on your device. Deleting the app removes it. We have no access to it and cannot recover it for you.

Local notifications

If you enable end-of-session notifications, the app schedules them locally through your operating system. No notification content is sent through us or any third party.

Advertising (free version only)

The free version of Pomodivo displays banner and occasional interstitial ads using the Google AdMob SDK. To serve ads, AdMob may collect and process data such as a device advertising identifier, coarse location derived from IP address, device and app information, and ad interaction data. Depending on your region, Pomodivo presents a consent prompt (via Google's User Messaging Platform) that lets you choose between personalised and non-personalised ads.

• Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
• On iOS, personalised ads additionally require your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, only non-personalised ads are requested.

Buying the Remove Ads upgrade stops all ad requests and the associated data collection.

Purchases

In-app purchases (Remove Ads, All Themes) are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation that a purchase succeeded so the app can unlock the feature; we do not receive your payment details. Refer to Apple's and Google's privacy policies for how they process transactions.

Data we collect

None. Pomodivo has no backend server. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data. The only third party that processes data through the app is Google AdMob, and only in the free version, as described above.

Children

Pomodivo is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect data from children.

Your choices

• Turn off ads and ad-related data collection: buy the Remove Ads upgrade.
• Change ad consent: reopen the consent options from Settings (EEA/UK and certain other regions).
• Reset your device advertising identifier: use your device's system settings.
• Delete all app data: uninstall the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
